Moodboard Monday :: Wildflowers

March 31st, 2014 | Moodboard

Tomorrow is the 1st of April, yet Mother Nature brought us a mix of sleet and snow this morning – making us long even more for the warmth of the spring sun. We hope this little taste of fresh herbs + wildflowers brings comfort while we wait until the snow melts.

Mardi Gras Moodboard

March 4th, 2014 | Blog, Moodboard

Mardi Gras is an annual festival marking the last day before the season of Lent. During Lent, many people give up poor habits such as unhealthy foods or drinking alcohol, and Mardi Gras – which is French for Fat Tuesday – is a big last hurrah for people to get their fill of excess.
New Orleans is known for its wild Mardi Gras celebration where traditions range from wearing costumes and masks, parades, and dancing.
